How are you doing?
Here we are, doing a new speaking practice!
See the cloud of words?
Working with a classmate, you have to:
A) Write one sentence with every word you can see in the cloud
B) Have a little chat with your partner USING each of the sentences. Your classmate will give you one point for each sentence used PROPERLY during your conversation.
Good luck!

ACTIVITY 2 READING & WRITING
Hey there!
How´s everything?
Did you enjoy the last post, with the vocabulary? I hope so.
In this new post, I am going to ask you to go further, and try to fulfill another exercise, but a little more difficult.
This is it:
HERE YOU HAVE THE STORY: "THE RAGE CHAIN"
One day, on
the beach, a young impulsive man stepped on a little surprised shrimp, and felt
stung. He got so angry that he hit a bored nearby coconut
tree, which dropped a coconut that hit a nervous rooster on the head. The rooster was so furious that he pecked a lot of ants.
The ants, aggressively stung a shy snake. The upset little viper bit an
innocent but brave boar, which, in turn, discharged its ill humor against a
banana tree. The curious bat that was sleeping there,
landed on its head (blindly, of course) and crossed, bit the ear of a
sensitive elephant. The enraged
animal knocked over the first house he found.
The owner
of the house, a normally relaxed woman, got very angry because she didn´t
understand anything. She went to talk to the elephant,
but he blamed the bat. The bat blamed the boar, who blamed the snake,
who in turn blamed the ants. The ants blamed the rooster, the rooster blamed
the coconut, the coconut blamed the boy, and the boy
blamed the shrimp.
Everyone
looked for the shrimp in the sea. When they found it,
they were so angry that they started to ask her what was wrong with her.
Then she answered, peacefully, that she was minding her business, having a bit
of sun, when the boy stepped on her, and got stung by himself. Then, everybody became silent, thinking about how it was that
they got hurt. And then, they realized that it was nobody´s fault, at
first. It was their rage what caused a chain of bad and
painful events.
Remember, sometimes one can be angry about something, but other people
doesn´t have to pay for that, as they are not involved in the way you
feel. Then, you can stop a chain of misfortunes.
That´s a challenge!
Au revoir!
ACTIVITY 1 READING

HELLO, to everybody!
Hi,
I just want to say hello to everybody.
This is my first blog, and I will try to make it fun, but useful, for anyone who would like to work a little bit with English as a Second Language.
Enjoy!
